Plantar Fasciitis Chiropractor

Plantar fasciitis is a very painful injury that occurs on the bottom of your foot. Symptoms usually include tenderness on the sole of your foot and pain when walking, especially worse in the morning. It can be caused from standing on your feet for long periods of time, running, or having tight calves. If you are an avid runner, getting plantar fasciitis can delay your training for several weeks if not properly taken care of and treated.
Dr. Murrin can detect early onset of planar fasciitis and begin treatment before this condition sets you back. He will provide recommendations and advice for proper footwear as well as orthotics when dealing with plantar fasciitis. This, along with chiropractic care, can help resolve and prevent plantar fasciitis.

Turf toe, although not a very common injury of the foot, is another condition that Dr. Murrin is able to treat. While working with the NFL, Dr. Murrin assessed and treated many turf toe injuries on professional football players. Hyperextension of the big toe when pushing off or running causes a strain on the big toe and pain whenever performing the “toe off” motion when walking or running. Chiropractic care and proper bracing of the toe will help this injury heal faster.
